Saudi Arabia Launches Blockchain-Powered Real Estate Registry to Boost FDI and Liquidity
Saudi Arabia has unveiled a national tokenized real estate registry, leveraging blockchain technology to modernize property transactions and attract foreign investment. The platform, developed by SettleMint, integrates title management, automated valuations, escrow-linked payments, and fractional ownership—creating a transparent marketplace aligned with Vision 2030 goals.
The hybrid architecture combines Core registry services with smart contract layers, enabling end-to-end digital transactions from listings to post-trade settlement. A forthcoming tokenized marketplace will facilitate fractional asset trading under regulated frameworks, while open APIs will allow banks and developers to build services like tokenized lending.
